We could have spent all day there. Several hours courtesy of a bus drop off and 25 minute introductory outside walk around wasn't enough. When you go, take the time to book with a reputable tour company and go into each building and read all the signs and literature. It is really worth doing so.

You can't see it unless you want to pay $37 to get into the Port Arthur Historic Site which is a complete disgrace as even those wanting to go to the memorial for those who lost there lives in the Port Arthur shooting still need to pay. PORT ARTHUR HISTORIC SITE MANAGEMENT SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES
