Came out on the 10 Day trip with Brett Jim and Klaudia. The Franklin is world class rafting. This World Heritage area is a hard one to beat in any measure. Brett and the team are experienced, professional, and love this river. Going down with them was a treat and I would do it again in an instance. Also Klaudia... More

Be aware that the signage says picnic stop but there is a short walk that is a definite must see. Lots of beautiful lichens and mosses all throughout this rainforest. There are also toilets available.

Four of us just finished 10 amazing days in the beautiful Tasmanian wilderness rafting the Franklin River. We highly recommend going with Water by Nature. We had the time of our life, thrills, spills, wildlife (birds including sea eagles & 2 platypus) & tranquility. Our trip leader Scotty, with rafting guide, Blake, were fantastic - very experienced, safe, hard workers... More

Not one of the best walks we did during our trip but it seems to be popular with families as there is a boardwalk, so walking is easier than some. I expected better views of the river, but whether the erosion of part of the path during recent floods, or the growth of the trees has changed this I don't... More

In December 2016 I realised a long held ambition to raft the Franklin River - with my son Daniel (16 years). It was a fantastic experience. Over 8 days we experienced the truly stunning beauty of the Franklin and the thrills of rafting with a great bunch of fellow rafters. The guides from Franklin River Rafting (Alayne, Riley and Adrian)... More

The trip was more beautiful, wild, and exquisite than I’d imagined. I fell in love with the Franklin River; it’s so pristine, and there’s no place like it. So glad this wild place is still pure. Brett, Mark, and the other Water By Nature guides are excellent. I felt safe and well cared for. The food was delicious and plentiful.... More

I have just returned from a rafting trip down the Franklin River with Water by Nature. I fell in love with the Franklin river and everyone who shared the trip with me. I didn't want it to end. Guides, Brett and Klaudia looked after us perfectly. I felt safe in the challenging and dangerous parts and pampered- insofar as this... More

Thank you for providing such a rewarding and inspiring trip on the Franklin. The trip was all I could have hoped for. Our two guides Dan and Scott were first class and I appreciate how they were so attentive to safety and looked after us so well. They gave a great history of how the Franklin was saved from damming... More

PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE THE TA RATINGS. The food is ok, not outstanding. The guides are safe but communicated poorly to our group of eight. In seven days they still didn't know our names. Off river they did their best to use our labour. One of our group, a fit 70 year old, had difficulty with steep hills that needed... More
