My partner and I booked the 'Cliffs, Caves, and Beaches' day tour by sea kayak. Despite the mixed weather (heavy showers one minute, 30 degrees C clear skies the next!), we had a fantastic day! We were met bang on time at the town information centre by the minibus and introduced to the very friendly guides. The bus went on... More

Very good coastal paddle on Fortesque Bay, our experience at "the candle" was next to none. Pip and Tori were easy to spend the day with and engaged with all their clients. Lunch was superb.

Thank you Malcolm, Glad to hear you had such a wonderful day on our Tasman Day paddle! :) We agree - the geology of the area - the massive dolerite sea cliffs and sea stacks -such as the Candlestick - are such an interesting and exciting location to paddle! ...Especially if any inquisitive seals are following the kayaks...and you have... If you like kayaking you'll love this day trip on the Tasman😊. We drove from Hobart to Fortesque Bay where we launched our double kayaks after the safety briefing and instructions on paddling basics. What a day we had! Amazing dolorite rock formations, kayaking in rock canyons, seals sunbaking and cavorting in the water, albatross, gannets, cormorants and a white... More

The scenery was breathtaking, the changing weather was at times challenging but so much fun to experience it first hand. Yes take your camera but try as you may you will never capture the diversity and massive scope of what your eyes will see. The beauty, the serenity and the powerful natural forces are a juxtaposition to be in awe... More

A huge thank you to our two wonderful guides, Tom and Sue, who made this such a great experience. Not only are they passionate and knowledgeable about the area, but they clearly love what they do. Skilful, extremely knowledgeable, witty, fun loving guides with a talent for cooking in the outdoors. This trip was fabulous from start to finish. Our guides Tory and Damo were sensational. SW TAS is a very picturesque part of Australia, seeing it from a kayak is the perfect way to do it. The weather was very fickle but our guides were... More

I recently went on the Hobart City kayak tour with my 8 year old son. We both loved it. The guides are fantastic & informative. After a short rundown of how to kayak, we were led on a simple paddle to and around the Hobart docks. Whilst at the docks everyone gets to enjoy a fish & chip lunch in... More
