Popped down too Station Pier too see the ferry too Tasmania. Had a coffee in a nice quiet area with my wife and watched the action taking place at the pier. The girl behind the counter was lovely and made us feel at home and made a god coffee.

Small venue. Went for engagement party. Food was not too crash hot. Location was excellent. A fat lady wouldn't be able to fit in the toilet cubicle. House Sav Blanc tasted like $3 rubbish.

I have been there many a times and actually ended up renting an apartment in Docklands. When I first went there in february I was just amazed by the cool breeze , walking path and lots of people just relaxing and having good time. I have had many walking trips in numerous occasions and still I never got bored. It... More

Station Pier in Port Melbourne was the arrival point for many European migrants in the post war migration boom. The liners from Europe would discharge their human cargo here, who were hoping for a better life. Some refugees were literally homeless, they had nowhere else to go. Most adjusted well to life in Australia, but many never severed their psychological... More

Well worth a visit if you are down this way. You can pick up a tram from Flinders Street Station or Southern Cross. The tram meanders along a truly charming route that finishes near Station Pier. After the walk you can have a drink at the Pier Hotel. It's a great excursion and a lovely mix of city meets bayside.

Go to a restaurant in the area and then take a lovely stroll along Station Pier . Its beautiful. You have views of the water and restaurants everywhere. You can even see Spirit of Tasmania there.

We redeemed a Scoopon on Monday 05/04/2015. We are pleased to say the reviews we had previously read were unnecessarily unflattering. Ursula took our telephone booking, and she was perfectly lovely! It was seamless, and there was no indication of not being welcome because we were Scoopon voucher guests. A shared entrée'; choice of main from Scoopon list (a Moroccan... More

Kind of average and nothing to brag about, but... when the ferry is in port you can get the free Wi-Fi. I'm sure you can use Station Pier as a jumping off point to other places of interest, but really there is nothing here to excite you... other than free Wi-Fi. Enjoy!
