This was our first experience at the Melbourne Recital Centre. We saw Janet Seidel in the Salon and what an intimate first class show and venue it was. I can’t believe how reasonably priced the tickets were. We caught public transport which was also a...More

I recently bought tickets online to see "Steve Gadd Band" for a one night concert at this stunning venue. The interior of the building is all timber and has a sculptured effect on the walls. All the seats are very comfortable and offer excellent viewing...More

Have now been a couple of times, great seats, good view and you always feel you are close to the performance, prices also reasonable for Melbourne. The Snowman concert was fantastic

If you're looking to attend a concert or recital in Melbourne, this is the place to go. Aside from the high calibre of performers they book to perform, the building has the most incredible acoustics. Both the Salon and Elizabeth Murdoch Hall provide a great...More

It was the first time I had been to the Recital Centre. I went for the Soweto Gospel Choir which sounded brilliant in the acoustically brilliant centre. The Choir was lovely and I enjoyed the second half more than the first half. The Centre is...More

I have in the past, to a less formal concert. No one said anything so... Maybe yes? Most concert halls in Melbourne are pretty relaxed.

Looking at going to an upcoming jazz performance at the Elisabeth Murdoch Hall. Unfortunately only seats left are in Wings or back row of the Circle. I've never been to this venue before (or to jazz in such a venue) so can anyone suggest which seats to choose? Thank you
