Took two grandsons, age 10 and 8, they had a brilliant day using the interactive area for sports in general. We then moved onto the information areas which were brilliant. So much for all ages, well thought out and the contributions by James Hird and Shane Waugh were brilliant for two young boys to see the real balance of sporting... More

We visited the museum after doing a tour of the Cricket Ground. Loved the Shane Warne hologram, the AFL information, all the memorabilia and it was great to have a break from all the reading to go to the games level and participate in those activities related to different sports.

It had memorabilia from every Olympics starting with 1896 all the way to Rio, although... More

This was amazing. I loved all the exhibits and how interactive it was. When I first heard about it I didn't realise it was in the MCG so that was a pleasant surprise.

Very interesting and entertaining. Great interactive activities. We thought 2 hours would be enough but 4 would have been better, if you intend to read a lot of the exhibits. Lovely helpful volunteers who are only too happy to guide you and make your visit enjoyable. Well done.

Across a multitude of sports, the museum features memorabilia from some of the country’s biggest heroes and highlights moments that have shaped the traditions of Australian sport. Frieldly and helpful staff. Try the interactive section. A must if visiting Melbourne!

Wear athletic shoes, so you can easily particpate in the interactive section. It was fun to learn about Australian sports through participation.
