Named for the hilltop flagstaff used in the 1800's to signal ships of their arrival to Melbourne's port. Today it is a well cared for multiuse park where you have a playground, bbqs, acres of trees including eucalyptus, fig and elms providing shade to those...More

Nice hill garden with little childen playground. Lot of big trees. Well maintain. A bit dangerous with children skateboarding, bicycle, run down the slope may accidentally get out onto busy road. They should have some sort of gate or bollards at the entrances.

Walked from the pegusus hotel to William Inglis conference centre in La Trobe and it was a delightful start to the day. Gorgeous trees. Open spaces. Discrete paths. A lovely location.

A lovely clean place to rest and watch the rest of the city go by. Pleasant little play area and close to pubic toilets.

A lovely garden in the centre of Melbourne, with open areas for picnics. Well-tended plants, trees, grassy areas, kids' playpark and bowling club. Try as we might, we never spotted a possum, for which the garden is famous!

feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
