Flagstaff Gardens are apparently Melbourne's oldest. They were established in 1862! They have numerous beautiful trees and a huge range of really lovely plants. Of course it all depends on your taste, and perhaps the time of the year that you visit. We were there...More

This is a great, somewhat large park in the middle of Melbourne. We went as tourists from a cruise ship on a beautiful, warm Summer's day and the jacaranda trees were in bloom. It is a little oasis from the hustle and bustle of central...More

Passed by this beautiful garden on my way to Queen Victoria market from my hotel. I visited Melbourne in spring and there were lots of gorgeous, colourful flowers in this garden. A nice place to relax as there were plenty of benches.

Our Daughter and her fiancee were married at the City of Melbourne Bowling Club in the beautiful surrounds of Flagstaff Gardens. An ideal setting.

never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
