I used to shop online a lot with David Jones, but now are going to try elsewhere. Today it would not take my Amex card or any other card, except the store card. Lately you can not shop with your earned points as they advertise...More

What a very nice surprise finding the food hall. Clean and easy to navigate around, offers something for everyone. It’s like an up market food hall that you would find in any shopping centre but with a fantastic choice twist. Plus you can buy all...More

This is the Melbourne City store of the David Jones department store chain, and it's the showcase for the company. Every time we visit Bourke Street mall my wife invariably ends up visiting David Jones and leaves with a new pair of shoes.

To miss a visit to David Jones is to miss Harrods in London but not on such a grand scale. More like Harvey Nichols or John Lewis, not quite Selfridges. They stock the lot and the staff are very user friendly and helpful. A must...More

How many stores, Mall's and Markets does one city need!? This venue is one of the better stores available. Give yourself a good couple of hours to wander the many departments and floors available. It can be quite pricey but isn't most of Melbourne in general?...More

We ate at the food Hall recently. The food is lovely and fresh. The bakery has amazing cakes, also great for a birthday cake. It is quite expensive so I don't come here often. The grocery section has some specialised food but it has most...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
