This temple is so very, very beautiful. Walking inside is like stepping into another dimension. Not only are the esthetics stunning, but the soul-stirring music, the charming fragrances from the altar, and the welcoming hosts, are really profound. We also had one of the best meals I can ever remember here!

This temple is located in an Indian locality in South Melbourne. Most buildings in Danks street are classified as Heritage building and so is this temple. Hence no renovation or modification can be done to alter the exterior look. Actually the exterior does not give an impression of a temple structure. However, once inside there is calm ,peace and tranquility.... More

On the surface, it looks like you're getting a meal for free. That in itself is enough to attract many people. But you get so much more. You'll feel relaxed as you walk barefoot through the garden. Koi circle the pond at the centre of the garden. The Hare Khrisnas chant in worship the whole time enhancing the feeling of... More

A visit to this place makes the outside world feel irrelevant. The gardens are lovely and the peace and tranquility that prevails from being in and around the temple is beautiful. Everything has a place and everything is in its place. If you have never been then go and have a look.

It's located near Albert park and South Melbourne beach. Getting there: Best way from flinders st station / federation square is to take any tram that says Route 1 towards South melbourne beach. About the deity: This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and His Consort Lady Radha. There are beautiful idols in the northern Indian tradition and even Eastern... More

Located near the city, this temple stands for mental peace, solace and divinity. Plan to visit the temple during their 30 minute dharshan. They also serve free prasadh ( meals) after the darshan. Very neatly maintained and friendly people. You also get the basic puja items in the temple store at very affordable rates. Glad to see many Australians involved... More
