This Tram is the most convenient mode to look around most of the places of attraction, there is also a commentary on the attractions close to every stop, very useful, enjoyable.

This tram is free and given the conditions it had better be. There must surely be safety considerations and a maximum passenger limit but instead tourists are mashed in with hordes of the great unwashed from the CBD and forced to endure a lengthy trip...More

Great idea to travel around the CBD. Get an idea of where things are then on the second loop hop off to your preferred destination. The tram is frequent enough to hop on and off when you like. Certain times of the day it can...More

Such a great service to see the city especially for first time visitors to Melbourne. The running commentary along the way is very helpful for tourists.

Easy way to move about the city. You must remember to utilize your ticket and you can easily get around and see the sites of the city.

The City Circle tram is a great way to get around the city for no cost. You get an automated commentary and see the inner city sights. However, don't get on in the middle of summer, it's sooo hot, and very crowded!

Went for a tour of the city with some friends, what a great way to get around and have a guide tell you about the city! Only bad point is the very old looking tram itself ...

We had a great look around the cricket and tennis area and walked up the south side of the Yarra.Stayed at the Marta on Jolliemont.

corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

Hi... Im staying in docklands. How do I make the difference between the clockwise and anticlockwise route of the city circle tram ? Is it different spot to catch the tram ? Also, how long will the next tram come to the same spot ?

What a lovely place to start a day out... Across the road is the light rail, at a beautiful original station in Port Melbourne. That tram will take you to the Casino where you can pick up the free City tram. Even the trip... More
