First, the code wasn't working to unlock the bike. Called them up, but still couldn't get a bike out. Half an hour later my bank called, said my credit card had been compromised, and they cancelled it.

We booked for 5 days in Melb with nothing planned, after checking into our accommodation and strolling Southbank we saw these bikes. It was a simple matter of using your credit card and docking every 30 mins, and we kept ourselves busy for 5 days. We...More

We hired bikes for 24 hours and travelled docklands to st kilda beach. Can only rent for 30mins at a time before having to dock bike to a station, but for $3 for 24 hours, it's well worth it. Good reason to stop and look...More

My friends and I hired bikes for about 3.5 hours on Sunday afternoon. Wasn't expecting it to cost so much. There was no information about how to 're-dock' the bike and take it about to save $7. To summarise, it is good fun but be...More

Melbourne bike share is a great way to get around and see Melbourne. It's also pretty cheap ($3 a day, $8 a week). The seats aren't the most comfortable but hey you get off and on a lot so doesn't matter too much

We just spent a day riding from the City to St Kilda and back. We used the app SpotCycle which helped heaps as you have to swap bikes every 30 minutes, but that wasn't a real problem as there are many stations. A lot of...More

I really liked the bikes we hired, the station was just round the corner from the hotel we were at and there are plenty of docking stations round the city and main attractions. The bikes we had were well maintained, comfortable and easy to ride....More

I liked the concept and tried the bikes twice. Found the bikes to be very uncomfortable. Did not complete more than 10 minutes even once. Overall did not feel confident riding the bikes. Felt wobbly and not sturdy enough. The handles felt too free flowing.
