Fremantle is a lovely town. The tram driver is informative. You can take a pram as long as it collapses. We had a large collapsable pram and we were still able to take it on. Also lovely to just walk around Fremantle if you prefer that over a tour.

We only had a short time in town and the tram tour was a wonderful way to see the highlights. If you have longer, it can be the introduction that lets you know what you want to see in more detail - a lot of the museums appear to be free so that could be a good starting point. Drive/guide... More

After visiting the prison we jumped on the old town tram towards the town. The driver got lost (said they had recently changed routes) and we drove the same part twice and missed other bits out. Bit of a waste of time – the view wasn’t even that great as there was loads of building work going on and the... More

Our driver James was a delight! Informative, humerus and patient. James certainly know his stuff, and clearly enjoys interacting with his passengers. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with this hop on hop off tour and would highly recommend.

Had a private tram tour as we were with a Scenic Group tour. Had an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and accomodating. Really enjoyed it.

This tour went through the town of Freemantle, stopped at the prison, war memorial and round the docks. Our tour guide Neville was very knowledgeable and interesting but his microphone was not always easy to hear as the tram was very noisy and the windows rattled. This meant you missed large chunks of the commentary. The wooden seats were also... More

Decided to see fremantle a different way. Tram tours worth doing but not exactly hop on/off. If there were no people at a designated stop, the tram didn't stop. James was our first tour guide on the first tram we took. Very good, full of knowledge. Good sense of humour. The second tram we caught (after waiting at one stop... More

You have to see Perth when visiting Fremantle and vice versa. We took the Triple Tour - Fremantle tram tour first, then a cruise down the river to Perth, Hop on Hop off bus around Perth, before returning to Fremantle. An excellent day.

Highly recommended. Super guide who took us on a slight deviation to War Memorial which was beautiful and we would have missed it otherwise. Use Hello Perth coupon book for $5 off!

Maybe its better when there is not a cruise ship in port but the tour felt rushed. Difficult to hear the driver talking so passengers started chatting which made it even more difficult to hear. Mostly saw places where things used to be but now there is an apartment building being put up. Drivers were friendly but seemed a bit... More

Hi Thanks for taking time to review your tour with us. Yes cruise ship days can be very busy! This probably made you think the drivers were disorganised? They a have as many as 9 different tour packages to collate and each with differing times and elements, so making sure everyone gets to the right place takes a little planning... More
