We did the Abrolhos Island tour commencing on 30th March with two friends we met on the Darwin to Broome Kimberley trip with Eco Abrolhos last July/August. It was another amazing adventure. The staff were wonderful. We were thoroughly cared for and nothing was a trouble. The food was absolutely delicious, Ray is a wonderful chef and his creations each... More

I viewed the Abrolhos Islands from the air on a tour with Shine Aviation, who also landed at East Wallabi island for some snorkelling. The scenery is stunning and breathtaking- both from the air and on the ground. Add it to your bucket list - it's not as good as the Great Barrier Reef or Whitehaven Beach in Queensland, however... Well worth the trip. Beautiful reefs and scenery. Comfortable plane with competent pilot. Reasonable picnic style meal and drinks.

We went on a charter plane and had a approx. 1 hour fly over the islands being shown all the sites. It was beautiful. We then landed on the only Island that the general public can visit. It was a 15 to 20 min walk to the beach shelter where we set up. I was then off with a few... More

My husband and I were not quite sure what this 5 day boat trip on the Eco Abrolhos would be like. Our reunion group of 7 trip was organised by The Villa discovery group in Perth and our Perth friends forwarded the information on to us in Melbourne and another friend in Adelaide. We all liked the idea of learning... More

I feel extremely lucky and grateful to have grown up on these Islands and able to call them home. Pristine waters, abundant sea life, deserted islands, shipwrecks and larrikin crayfisherman are just a few things you may see. If you have a bucket list then you must put the Abrolhos Islands on it. Wendy Mann and her team at Geraldton... More

Not well publicized, these reefs and islands are magical from the air with the only sign of human habitation the small cray fishing huts on some of the barren islands. It was way more scenic from the air than I was expecting. At ground level they look a bit like the starker bits of Rottnest Island.

The Abrolhos Islands lay around 70km's off the Geraldton Coast line and are accessible by Air Charter or boats. The 122 islands that make up the Abrolhos archipelago are simply stunning and mainly untouched. The islands sit in the Leeuwin current which means that coral reefs thrive there. Snorkeling is simply amazing. We took a flight over and saw humpback... More

Great clean waters in with 130 islands to just off the coast of Geraldton. Great fishing and lobster abound the area. Catch squid of an evening or relax with a cold beer as the sun settles in the water. They have flights and cruises to the four island groups, Southern group being the closest. A must see if you are... More

I traveled to and landed on the Abrolhos Islands in September with Geraldton Air Charters. The flight out and back exceeded any expectations that I had. We flew over breaching humpback whales, a manta ray, and then swooped low over the lobster fishing villages on the southern and middle groups of islands before landing at East Wallabi for a guided...
