We had a wander through this arcade that has several clothes, jewellery, sourvenir shops and cafes. If you are after cheaper RAW PEARLS keep going to the end of the shops where you'll find a very interesting little bead shop that also has a small collection of gems, rocks and pearls. The owner was delightful and super attentive to our... More

Johnny Chi lane hosts a number of old shops, salons, jewelry stores and several cafes in the shade. If youre hot, and want to relax I recommend you come here. As well as being shaded and cheaper than the many highstreet cafes, these are also less crowded which add to the relaxation. If youre heading to China town and havent... More

There is a great place in the lane that makes fresh fruit and vegetable juices. I have had a "get up and go" as a refresher after cycling from Cable Beach to Chinatown. Very refreshing!

Just went in for a look to see what sort of shops. Found that the clothing was discounted, but was still far too expensive for the average traveler.

There are many types of shops, I purchased fishing bit and pieces there and we also bought a few items in other shops but mostly it is a area with many small shops. Worth the visit and you can buy good food, coffee and some interesting places like the pearl lugger display.

This is referred to as China Town, but it is less 'China' and more just a shopping district. But don't let that deter you, it is a great area to browse with an eclectic mix of food, clothes and jewellery.

Had been recommended to me, however when I saw the signage I thought not much here. However, went in any way, so much more than meets the eye. A regular maze of shops, cafes, even a shoe repair shop. We found it after a long and tiring day, so will definitely return and have a proper look. We were there... More

Some decent shops and a few places to eat. Not sure about the whole "China Town" bit but hey ... whatever brings in the tourists.

When in town its worth a eyeballing for some goodies and to do your sovenir shopping ....but basically end of the day it's really only just an arcade with a cool name plus a unique entrance
