Rode the tram today. Discovered it almost by accident. Fare was a gold con as part of the road where the track is situated is undergoing redevelopment work. Great value for money and very friendly and passionate staff.

This short tram trip would be great for the kids and is informative and fun for the adults too. For only $2 it's well worth taking 20 minutes out of your day, then take a look around the fish markets and enjoy lunch at one...More

If you like old trams which I do, it is superb. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their trams and the local area, driving smoothly and giving a good commentary. The circuit is round a changing developing area. The art work on the tramshed...More

You need to be realistic about what this is and not expect too much. For $2 it is a fun trip for littlies and an eye-opener for an Aucklander who has obviously lived under a rock and not realised the extent of the Viaduct development.

went on this when 1st established, though pleasant the route was short, so expensive for what you get. As are most of the bars, cafe & restaurants when you have children to also feed. Otherwise a pleasant tourist experience for couples.

A beautiful tram and the conductor was highly knowledgeable with a great commentary. I did think it was pricey but was happy to pay for this experience and my son loved it as it's something unique so close to Auckland's harbour. The actual circuit is...More
