I came to Auckland for a trip on my own so wanted to book a tour to waiheke island rather than going alone. I booked from the UK before I left. Staff at the pier were helpful and informative. We ventured out on a rainy day about a week ago. The staff at the dock was friendly and helpful. The ride over was bumpy as expected, however, the Captain took his time and got us there safely. We were very impressed with our bus driver, Glenn who was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. He is a definite asset to the... More

This tour was easy to book and just the right length. All Fullers staff were friendly and helpful and our tour bus driver had a great kiwi sense of humour. The wineries visited were varied and clean with great wines and a uniqueness about them all.

The ferry ride to Waiheke Island was fine. The tour bus was fine. The driver (Glenn) was way better than fine, but he needs some new wisecracks! The journey around the picturesque island was fine. But the wine? Well, not impressed. Simply not impressed. Mudbrick, Cable Bay, and Te Whau vineyards were chosen for us and we tasted nine wines... More

We had a great day yesterday evening on this tour. I would definitely recommend it. Glenn, our tour guide was very entertaining. He had us laughing from the minute we stepped on the bus. He had good local knowledge & we enjoyed the mini tour around some of my old stomping grounds. Te Whau & The Bach are both great... More

Well run, very smooth, knowledgeable operator. Visited three excellent wineries with absolutely stunning views. Only negatives were that I'm tired of being put down because I'm an Aussie- I have a sense of humor, but it's getting ridiculous! Also the timing wasn't right for a no lunch tour. The cheese platters available at one of the wineries disappeared very quickly... More

Not a bad experience but the group was way too large, a full bus load! We personally felt rushed. Stoneyridge winery was very pretty and the red wine we tried was the best one out of all of them, although not good enough to purchase. They only make 2 wines, we had a glass of the white when we got... More

We had Jocelyn as our tour guide and she was absolutely fantastic - full of knowledge about the beautiful island and making everyone laugh along the way. She was definitely the highlight of the tour. The tours themselves were good but very rushed, didn't feel like there was a lot of time spent in each location but was still very... More

We did the Taste of Waiheke tour, which included visits to three wineries, as well as an olive oil tasting. The tour was excellent, as was our guide (Evelyn)! We also enjoyed having a bus pass for the island, which allowed us to stay and visit the beaches and towns after the tour ended.
