The whole of Cornwall Park is beautiful. However, the BBQ area is wonderful. Lots of shady spots to have a Picnic. The younger kids and teenagers were able to walk safely around the park, toilets were close enough to walk too. Kids loved walking while the flock of sheep were grazing.

We had a lovely afternoon picnic with family few months back. The kids enjoyed even though there were lots of dogs without leash.

Cornwall park is absolutely beautiful. It is a great place to go for a walk. I would definitely suggest going here is if you like animals and green spaces. The sheep are amazing!

Cornwall Park was on my "must do" list when I visited Auckland. Sadly when I visited in spring I had missed the bluebells under the trees, but nevertheless many English style trees were in fresh leaf. The Park sprawls over a large area so I drove right around it and up to the top where the statue in honour of... More

Extensive outdoor area offering nature rambles for all fitness levels. The site of Auckland's largest Pre-European Maori settlement. Much of the area used now as a farm for sheep and cattle. Free bbq facilities as well as eatery and coffee bar. The Information Centre ia very helpful. The volcanic cone offers 360 degree views of the Auckland region.

On the way to St. Helier's, I spotted an obelisk. On a beautiful Sunday afternoon we drove to Cornwall Park, it wasn't too crowded and we quickly found a spot to park and walk around. We gravitated to the eatery and ordered take-out of chips & nuggets, so that we can eat and roam. There is a small cottage (Acacia... More

Lovely place for a stroll or jog in the park. I used to sleep here. So close to everything, I recommend you buy some takeaways and head here to enjoy the quiet and people watch.

Beautiful and tranquil park to relax and have a good exercise or just sitting and reading books. Plenty of sheep and cows all around just mind the faeces on the grassland! Huge park to enjoy yourselves in..
