Like all casinos the odds are against you! Sky City especially - Hold on to your cash until you can hit Las Vegas is my suggestion.

They have a few bars in the casino area that are well kept. The table games are in a good betting range where some one can have fun without spending a lot. Overall very clean and well kept!

Stopped by the casino during visit to the Skytower on Sundayafternoon/evening; it was fairly busy. Casino was fairly clean (no smoking which is nice; there is designated smoking area) and pretty large with many different table games. Blackjack tables were: 1 table of double deck with dealer stand on soft 17 and $100NZD minimum, a few tables of 6-8 deck... More

Spent two nights at Sky City at the casino and the accommodation. Never left site, had a great time on federal street food was great, would recommend the Sugar Club for dinner, the service was excellent.

We stayed here with our Globus group. Modern hotel with usual amenities. Pleasant staff. Okay breakfast. There is a lot of traffic from people coming to the casino but it didn't inconvenient us.

Very large Casino. Many table games. Tons and Tons of slots. It is very clean and fairly quiet! No smoking. There is a wide range of gambling amounts from penny slots to high roller tables. What I really enjoyed was $1 game tables which you dont find anywhere. Lots of electronic cards and games. So much fun! We spent a... More

Appalling service with incompetent staff. Long service wait then when finally served given substandard drinks. When we complained we were told it was normal for NZ. We're clearly given cc and dry with post mix ginger ale where the gas canister ran out and it wasn't proper mix. The attendant told me it was normal in NZ even when the... More

Found ourselves here during a very late and boozy night. We had a laugh, mostly at the expense of the desperate gamblers trying and seemingly failing to win their fortune. Beers were not too expensive and o won $200, not too much to add.
