We visited on what must have been the best weather in Auckland ever. The park was a short walk from our hotel and beautiful. Everything is beautifully manicured and so green. It's obviously popular with transiting students and workers and many were relaxing in the park with their morning coffee. There's plenty of history and lots of fountains and statues.... More

We arrived into Auckland from our 12 hour flight and it was too early to check into the hotel. So we walked into the park and hung out here for 1-2 hours until our room was ready. We were jetlagged and tired, but sitting on a bench in this lovely little park, enjoying the sun and nature made us feel... More

This was a really nice place to visit on a warm day. Quite a climb up the steep steps but well worth it. Lovely trees, lots of statues including Queen Victoria, a couple of old guns and lots of birds. Plenty of seating areas. Lovely fountain. Couldn't see any amenities but there are toilets and a cafe in the Art... More

Immediately adjacent to the Auckland Art Gallery is the Albert Park, which is a small, peaceful inner-city park worthy of a short stroll. There are remarkable tress dating back to before Auckland was a city that are simply incredible and stunning. There are also nice well planted and maintained flower beds. Several trails meander through the park, which is actually... More

Albert Park is an open park in the Auckland City Centre. It is remarkably peaceful for its location. With open lawns, huge trees, water features, and paved pathways, this is a fantastic retreat for a good-weather day. There is loads of space to relax on the lawns, and they have many benches to sit on. Quite a lot of bird-life... More

Not a big park but very pretty. It`s a steep walk up but really nice once you are at the top. Good location to the rest of the city
