An old building with beautiful architectural glory. It serves well as a directional point of reference for ferry passenger to go to the right spot. An interesting mix in the surrounding of modern structures.

This is nice example of the old architecture of the city. At the ferry terminal, this building shows off how the city used to be, and it’s affluence. Good for photos, good for those looking for historic Auckland, and good for those exploring the port...More

You will see this building if you go to waterfront anyway. We did not go inside or did not take a tour, but the building itself had a nice orange-ish color. There was a very good ice cream place in the vicinity that offered very...More

My daughter and I enjoy traveling together, a couple of years ago we had an opportunity to go to this gorgeous country. The Ferry Building and its surroundings makes for a great walk.

I am so grateful to have interacted with several wonderful staff members who helped guide me for tours, make phone calls on my behalf and even helped me get in to the free wifi. They were the sweetest customer service people in Auckland!

Awesome place to be. I have not seen so many different types of ships from the smallest to the biggest cruise ships. It is close to Marine Museum. Really facinated by the history on ships! No wonder its called City of Sails!
