Amazing cathedral

In Parnell area. Beautiful, spacious, newish cathedral. Windows are the attraction. Traditional, Maori, and modern. Well worth the walk.

This Anglican cathedral is built in the Pacific Gothic style. It has beautiful clean lines and is interesting from an architectural perspective.

We were made very welcome at the Cathedral by people keen to tell us about it and the work which was being done. We were not able to see it at its best but the church was beautiful with lovely stained glass windows. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful cathedral. The area inside is full of light and the area before the altar is a vast space. The cross above the altar is also very modern on a lit green back ground. A huge difference between this and the church next door..

The stain glass is well worth the visit. a beautiful building. An interesting chapel at the rear is worth looking at with its open feel with lots of glass. A school event was on when we visited so could not access areas but it was certainly worth the visit

Even for non-christians a few minutes is well-repaid in this modern architectural gem. Obviously it's highly unusual to see a new-built christian building of this scale, certainly in New Zealand, and modern techniques have allowed for a huge open space with no need for pillars. But the highlight is the exuberant stained-glass windows which must surely be the most kiwi... More

Holy Trinity Cathedral located in Parnell Auckland is a truly magnificent architectural masterpiece with spiritual ambience. You may visit this impressive cathedral when you visit the Parnell Rose Gardens or Auckland Domain War Memorial Museum nearby.

The largest expanse of stain glass in the southern hemisphere awaits the visitor in the main cathedral. Keep walking in deeper, to the left past the baptistry and to the hallway before the choir area. In the rear of the building you will find the newest addition--a beautiful and peaceful chapel. It is great for reflection. This is a great... More

Though finishing up a major renovation, this is a wonderful place to worship. A newly installed pipe organ will add grandeur.

This Cathedral is just up the road from the Rose Gardens and is a great place for time out and reflection during the day.
