We lived in Napier for 6 months and I would often enjoy grabbing a flat white and walking this beautiful, friendly coastline each morning. It is a beautiful rambling walk.

Lovely meandering walk through the estuary area. Some shade on the short ease walk. Can expand on this and spend a couple of hours walking this interesting spot. Lovely spot for a swim also.

Stayed in this area. Went for a few family walks here. Great to walk and ride without any vehicles to watch out for. Most enjoyable

This is a 4.5 km round trip, there are so many wading birds to watch, on a full tide you can see small crabs going about their business

The walk is an easy stroll on formed paths around the Ahuriri Estuary. It's a lovely stroll, with plenty of country views and wildlife, the only downside being the one part of the walk past the back end of some factory units and the container...More
