My highlight was the Te Mata figs stall - interesting chat, lots to try, bought fig salami & chutney. Mostly it's food for later, but there are bacon sandwiches, coffee, and bread/baked goods. Live music. Could do with some more seating, and more sellers would be good, but what was there was good value.

Not sure how long the market has been running. Lovely produce as we visited in winter there was not a lot to view. I can only imagine in summer the beautiful Araya of fruits would be here. Nice for a we walk through.

Arrived to Napier today. Going to the farmers market makes for a nice start to the day. Look out for the bacon and egg sandwich stall. Delicious! Also good starting point after the market to enjoyed a walk down the main shopping street Emerson Street.

3 vege displays, artisian bakery , fresh juice, small honey stand, some expensive meat and a blueberry van? This 'farmers' market is in desperate need of some drawcard additions. More local food, ready to eat, local drinks, something people can be excited about coming out to get, local chocolate and candy (Silky Oak?) wouldn't go amiss. With such a highly produce... More

A lovely way to spend a Saturday morning. It was smaller than I expected, but I still spent over an hour shopping. I had a gluten free passionfruit cupcake that made my day! Also bought the best peaches and grapes. The variety of offerings was nice too--cutting boards, baked goods, preserves, and produce of course.

The stalls have grown in size since the last time I've been here (1.5 years ago). Showcases the best of Hawkes Bay from fresh produce, baked/preserved/curvatured goods. Great place to pick up seasonal fruit and veggies, hob-nob with the growers/bakers/producers.Thumbs up!

Found some wonderful cakes here and some great fruit too. It is not on for long, but if you are quick, you'll get some great deals.

The weather was great making this outdoor event special. Huge choice of food and nice music set a congenial atmosphere. Some queues were long for popular food stalls such as ice cream. It was popular with all ages and there seemed to be lots of families.

Came across this farmers market Saturday, was on the smaller side. Nothing really stood out was just like a normal market.
