Taking a walk or riding a bike on Marine Parade is a must see whilst in Napier to take advantage of seeing everything along the boardwalk. From the Pania statue, to the viewing platform and all along the waterfront, this is a great way to enjoy some of the highlights of Napier's waterfront. And best of all it's free with... More

An easy way to spend a few hours with the kids :) Lovely for walking, great for bike riding and mini golf and the Aquarium at either end. You can't go to Napier and not walk along Marine Parade.

This is a pleasant area to potter along. there is some building work going on , but this didn't detract from our walk. The carpark at one end of it is useful for walking into town, but on section of it is set aside for freedom camping of fully contained motorhomes and camper vans -very useful

Beautiful sunny walk along the seafront and admired the fantastic view overlooking the sea towards Cape Kidnappers. Some lovely Art Deco status en route plus sunken gardens - very pretty!

Awesome spot. Beach front was lovely and a good place for a morning walk. Good park areas for families and restaurants to visit. Lots to see.

The City has done well with this land, a great place to stroll, parks for the kids, memorials to earthquake and fire victims, bike tracks, playground, Aquarium. BBQ area, this is such a great space to spend some family time.

Great walk along Marine Parade. Some work being done at the moment to improve the walk. Very popular on a nice day.

Right on the beach. Undergoing major renovations, which are pretty ugly at the moment. Sign said it would be complete December 2016 but still looks some way off. Will be lovely when finished.Tourists off my cruise boat were pouring tens of thousands of dollars into the local economy, and were met with a 20 cent charge to use the public... More

Cannot believe Napier has changed so much since my last trip many years ago. The view along the Parade was just fantastic and the facillities all around for all ages were really impressive. You would definitely love the walk along the Marine Parade and love the pople who have put all these up in foont of you!
