Take a stroll and stop off at one of the many eateries. Great views. Remember to take your camera. Take a windbreaker just in case.

Got off the cruise shuttle at the aquarium. Had a relaxing walk along the beach all the way north back to the shuttle stop at the iSite.

Its not very big but it does give you a nice view out to sea and is worth incorporating into a walk along Marine Parade.

It had been 2 years since I was last here and was surprised to see that a new jetty had been added - a great new addition. The sunken gardens are always pretty. It looked like they were doing further upgrading so who knows what...More

Yes you can. It’s about 10 minutes to walk to town centre or you can walk the other direction and walk to Ahuriri beach front, for cafes, and bars.
