Utterly spectacular 11km long walkway along the seafront in New Plymouth, New Zealand. Walk, ride skate or scoot from Bell Block in the north to Port Taranaki to the south taking in the stunning Te Rewa Rewa Bridge, three swimming beaches, a golf club, rolling farm land, rivers and various accessways to residential and shopping areas.

Great walk around the Coastal walkway. The bridge is very impressive and had we not had cloud on the mountain it would have been a great pic taken looking thru the bridge to the mountain. Very very good walk, highly recommended.

A gorgeous walk along the coastline of New Plymouth. Great art along the way and if you are up early you can even see the sunrise from one vantage point.

Lovely surface walkway with frequent level access points, often places where you could leave car. Plenty of seats for resting en route.Although the walkway is wide, there is a potential hazard with cyclists as they approach so quietly and pedestrians can be completely unaware they...More

Great to walk along and ride. Well marked and nice flat with lovely areas to stop along the way. There was a lack of toliets in parts

Walked on a very early Sunday morning with not many people awake and about yet. Worth a visit here if you are in the area

Yes although we had our own bikes we saw several people/groups with hired bikes I am aware there is a place you can hire them at the port end of the walkway.
