Not sure what the correct timing is for the farmers market, first Sunday of the month in Currie St. What there was was nice enough, just not enough to make it a worthwhile enterprise. More support from stall holders needed.

We don't think it was the best time of the year to visit. A handful of hardy locals with some produce. An energetic band playing some cool music to a very small audience. We hope to be back at a better time and are sure...More

All produce/items sold are grown/made by the seller. Great entertainment, most of the time there is a local band/entertainment at the market who is local.

it may be winter but that shouldn't make a difference. 6 stalls doesn't make a farmers market. Hopefully in summer the market is a lot better. but we wont be back until then

This is a small market, but well worth going to as it is a genuine farmers’ market. The stallholders all grow or make their own wares, so they can tell you exactly what’s in the food you’re buying. The day I was there, there were...More
