The Te Rewa Rewa bridge is worth a look. Great design and a practical addition to the coastal walkway.

Great find along the coastal walkway, an amazing bridge, well worth the walk, run or ride to check it out

Creates the most awesome photo images, and on a beautiful clear day encases Mt Taranaki in the wave. Definitely a 'have to do - go see' on your visit to New Plymouth

No photograph will fully do justive to this stunning piece or artistc engineering. Preferably go see it in person on a clear day, when the 'breaking wave' will frame the distant volcano Taranaki, seen in The Last Samurai for its resemblance to Fujiyama.

Visit on a clear day & take your camera for a shot of the bridge & mountain. The bridge can be accessed by the Coastal Walkway or park up by Lake Rotomanu.

White unfurling leaf like bridge surrounded by stunning red flowering pohutikawa’s around December over a water way. With great sea views and views of Taranaki on a good day it’s a nice walk suitable for all fitness levels and people with disabilities.

We visitied this bridge in a personal tour we were on and had time to get out and walk across and back. It was a rather windy day and the sound it made as we walked across was very freaky. Alot of locals used the...More
