Held my interest for hours. Full of interesting displays and artifacts for the whole family to enjoy. A great selection of Maori artifacts and things from Taranakis and New Zealands colonial past, plus displays of insects, butterfly's and many many more interesting things. A must...More

It's amazing that has such a museum at New Plymouth. Even my teenager found it lovely and interesting to visit. We've got heaps of information about Mt Taranaki and dinosaurs.

not a big museum but really well layed out with a good mix of interactive exhibits and information. I really enjoyed the Maori history section, the kids loved the dinosaurs.

This is a lovely wee museum that was jam packed with exhibits and things to see. A good way to spend an hour or two.

I found it a great family event to attend. Lots of different activities for all ages. Very helpful staff. Lights re imaginative with great entertainment. Would night reccommend to visitors
