Visitors who want to take away a souvenir of New Plymouth that is a true reflection of the Artists here will be so delighted to see the artworks on sale. Open weekends for all to see. Just being inside the wonderful old homestead is special!...More

I expected this to be a museum of hospital type artefacts but it is an art gallery. However this suited me being interested in art as a local art group were exhibiting this day. There was a little information about the surgeons who worked there.

Great for people who are into the art scene. A beautiful old house in gorgeous gardens that's been set up as a gallery.

This building is located within the area known as Brooklands park. Originally constructed as a hospital hence the number of smaller rooms. Hospitals are now considerably different. Now an art exhibition space. Do give yourself plenty of time to visit, once inside there are many...More

Good to see the old hospital preserved. Used by Local Art Club to run exhibitions which presumably helps to keep the place viable. Interesting historical material on show

A must see as part of a visit to the Bowl of Brooklyns/Pukekura Park. It is set among Chinese style gardens and a small zoo but just a part of the Park experience

Its a lovely piece of history, unfortunately there are not any of the original pieces of furniture. I would advise people that there are some very steep stairs inside that lead up into the attic.
