I think the idea of a Greek / NZ memorial would need to appeal to you on a personal level to make this worth while. It's pleasant enough but located in a noisy and busy traffic area. I would suggest that it's worth checking out if you are wondering past but not worth going out of your way for

It's a cool little memorial but its located right in the middle of usually busy traffic on both sides of the road. I would love to this to be in an area with a little more solitude, as its hard to appreciate the nature of the memorial with the noise of traffic all around you. It does make the road... More

Its a lovely place in the middle of two roads, with lots of traffic, but is somehow peaceful. And commemorates the wonderful things the Greek people did for New Zealand soldiers/ airmen in WWII

Commemoration of the relationship between Greece and New Zealand. I attended the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Crete an a stone from Galatas is there. Fond memories of an epic struggle in history..

This nice little memorial is located in the median strip between Kent and Cambridge Terraces. The Memorial recognises the bond between New Zealand and Greece, in particular from World War 2 when New Zealand armed forces fought in Greece.
