Decide to play a solo round at the Miramar Golf club as it was only 4 kilometres from my B&B and close to my friends home in Miramar.Hired clubs ,trolley, and played 9 holes.total cost around $60nz. A nicely laid out course with plenty of lush grass along the edges of the fairways ( which i found hard to get out... More

This is a nice little town course just next to the airport. The layout is good, the fairway and greens in good condition. When we were there the restaurant was closed, so no snack available.

This is a well laid out course, handy for the city. It would be great, if it wasn't for the noise of the jets taking off next door at the airport.

This golf course is not for beginners - the fairways are very close to each other so at least you need to have good direction when you hit the ball. This is confirmed by the usual crowd playing here and you don't want to make the group behind you wait. In saying that, its a good golf course and you... More

An excellent, well maintained course and definitely worth playing 18 holes at Miramar Golf Club but like the other reviewers have said, it can be very, very difficult on a windy day. In my opinion this just add's to it's charm. It only takes about 10 minutes from the CBD to get here, making it super convenient. Keep an eye... More

I like this course. On a still day it is reasonably challenging, on a windy day it can be a killer. And Wellington has plenty of windy days. Because of the wind the greens are cut to be a bit slow - otherwise they would be unplayable. My warning is not about the wind, however. This must be one of... More

This is a nice course located very near the Wellington Airport. It has very few trees and is exposed to the strong winds. This allows the character of the course to change dramatically depending on which way the wind is blowing. It is a lot of fun! It is just not as challenging as some of the other courses in... More

Its not a premium course, but its well run and maintained and very popular. I personally prefer to rent a cart. No real killer holes.

Played on a fine sunny day and it was great, the next time the wind was a monster and it was one of the worst golf experiences
