Good restaurants. Couldn't get a better variety of different cuisines. I've never been up Cuba street despite many visited to Wellington. Never had time to go into the quaint cute shops. Next time definitely.

Love visiting Wellington and taking a stroll along Cuba street. So many shops of all different varieties, something for the whole family to see. Everything from retro clothes to the latest trends; upcycled furniture to art. Cafes galore for the foodies as well. Lots of interesting side streets as well with hidden gems like the chocolate factory.

This long street caters to walkers and provides a wonderful selection of shops and restaurants....it is a break from the more standard shops in Wellington and a great walk.

Went shopping today around Wellington and Cuba Street District was by far my favourite place to shop. It had all sorts of amazing shops including lots of different varieties of things. It also had a lot of cute cafes. Went back again at night time for dinner and there were heaps of cool restaurants and amazing night life. It seemed... More

Like all attempts in cities with this kind of street, making it a walking street seems to somehow lower the tone of it. This was obviously a grand street in early Wellington times. Just look at the splendid old buildings. But it's now somewhat seedy, not unsafe, just typical of many other cities like this. You can find a good... More

We loved Cuba Street in the early evening. There's a lot of bars, cafes and restaurants to choose from. What's best thought is the entertainment in the actual street as there are no cars. There are night markets and entertainment, especially liked the join in if you want to learn Salsa, then further down the street learn Swing. It's got... More

My partner and I loved how Wellington has embraced Cuba Street and created some Cuban themed cafe, bars and restaurants along here. We enjoyed dining long there and having some craft beers too!
