Cuba street is an amazing, colourful and cultural experience. The food, the bars, the shopping ... all fantastic. If you are into music or love beautiful instruments, a trip to Alistairs Music is a very special treat and enjoyable experience. The best kept secret, Cuba Street is so special special !!!

I never get tired of Cuba St. Lots of quirky little shops, including a good selection of vintage and retro clothing shops. Plenty of cafes and bars - the price varies so if you're on a budget it pays to look at the menu before requesting a table. There is public seating so you can rest your weary feet and... More

This area has something for everyone, couples and families alike. Great place for shopping, eating and bars. The shops are open late too so there's no need to rush. Take your time and enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere

A place to head to for a wide variety of food and drink. We felt safe with the kids. All types of food offerings, great vibe. Easily accessed from the city centre.

Nothing outstanding about Cuba street in general. It has a few unique wee boutiques which are worth a look and the Friday night market is awesome for some food truck cuisine. It's a walk along but Wellington offers a lot more than this. Give it a go.

A great walk to view early Wellington history. Some very old buildings and a wide range of exotic and unusual eating establishments. Well worth a look especially the top end(south).
