The botanic gardens were an oasis of calm after the inevitable noise of the re-building of earthquake recovering Christchurch. Beautiful trees and flowers and an excellent cafe.

The botanic gardens are absolutely Devine. So much to see and such a relaxed environment! I loved the succulent and cactus gardens the most. A must see if you're in Christchurch!

Gorgeous at all times of the year, but in particular during the spring time and summer. The conservatory in the middle is a great spot for a snack and a coffee. Very close to the city centre.

There is no actual campervan parking as the gardens are in the middle of CBS, but there is normal parking available within walking distance.
