A very cute town on the edge of a Port. We were delighted with the quaint street with interesting little shops. For lunch we had the best vegan in town and it was delicious. It's definitely worth driving from Christchurch to see.

If you have a car it is worth a drive through the road tunnel to have a look at Lyttelton. It is a very old part of Canterbury and has a large working port. It is quite small and set on a hill but it...More

Lyttelton is a port. It was interesting to see it but other than the town and port facilities it did not offer us much else.

Went to this quaint little place to explore and have lunch. Really nice place with great places to eat while you watch the scenes at the port.

Since the earthquakes it is difficult to even find a cafe to have a coffee. Not easy for drive around and only worth the drive round the bays to check out the views of the harbour.
