This is a lovely memorial that spans the river Avon. In a city ravaged by the earthquakes this stands out.

Looked impressive. We were on the tourist tram and the driver pointed it out to us as we went past. It was good to see.

It's amazing that this bridge was left standing after the earthquake. It's right in the city centre so I'd definitely include it in your route when you're walking around. In the sun it was lovely to sit beside it.

Worth a visit to walk along and remember those who fought and lost their lives for our freedom. Lots of interesting art around to enjoy as well.
