I thought the cruise would show the Remarkables from the water, Unfortunately I should of asked more questions! The million dollar views referred to were from properties on the lake. Very disappointed! So do not take this cruise if you want to look at scenery.

What do you mean we didn't show you the Remarkables from the water? We take you right to the end of the lake, where no other large launch can go, with magnificient views of the Remarkables. That is where we stop so people can get their photos taken with the Remarkables in the background. Where do you think the Remarkables... More

We enjoyed a wonderful cruise of the lake at Queenstown today. Max our Captain gave a most informative tour. We felt very comfortable and Max made us all feel very welcome on board. Great value for $39NZ. I would certainly recommend this as a "must do" for any visitors to the tourist mecca of Queenstown.

Very nice 1.5 hour trip on the lake. Fun and informative commentary from the captain. Good way to spend a sunny afternoon and reasonably priced at $39.

Everything was being cancelled due to the weather. But Million Dollar Cruise didn't let us down. To have an honesty box for drinks makes you feel really at home straight away, this family run business is affordable & relaxing. Commentary was both informative & funny. Thank you.

We chose this cruise rather than the paddle steamer cruise. The difference is one goes one way, the other goes the other. The paddle steamer took around 3 hours which included afternoon tea at a farmhouse and the Million Dollar cruise took 1.5 hrs with drinks and an equally gorgeous landscape. Great boat and we had the son of the... More

I found and booked this cruise on line at a discounted fare. We were to arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time. We watched the fish feeding before boarding. We sat on the back deck and we thoroughly enjoyed this informative trip in a small section of this massive lake. Just make sure your devices are fully charged before you... More

Cruise was enjoyable but the smoking laws must be reviewed. Great until somebody lite up. This happens all over New Zealand when you eat or drink.

Had an lovely afternoon exploring the lake. Max was very well educated on the great history of Queenstown and did a fantastic job of passing on said knowledge. Can't recommend this enough if you want a relaxed and laid back couple of hours on the beautiful crystal blue lake. He even allowed the passengers to briefly drive the boat whilst... More

At $39 this lake cruise is very worthwhile. The scenery is amazing, Wayne the boat captain is both informative and very friendly. 360 view on the upper deck. Photographers dream.
