The track starts off steep and continues this way for most of the hike. It is a loop track-I recommend going right at the junction to view the interpretive signs (and catch your breath at each sign) on the way up but also to take...More

Once you are up in the cablecar, there is so much to see and do. Bungy jumping, hang gliding, luge sledging etc. A fantastic place for those who like activity sports.

We recently completed this hike in Queenstown while having a break from snowboarding. The timings provided are quite spot on as it took us 50 minutes to get to the top, so roughly a 1.5 hour return trip. The paths are well signed and the...More

This is a difficult hike, mainly because nearly all of it is steep, but the destination is well worth the effort: Basket of Dreams, frozen pond (kids played ice hockey), and stunning views. There are also a few interesting things to see along the way....More

No visit to Queenstown would be complete without a visit to the top of hill for an amazing view of the Town and the lake.

Perfect. Bungee jumping to jet boat thrills and ski connections, hiking and nature walks are everywhere. Best time October to March being late Spring to late Summer. Enjoy. Cheers.
