Most amazing place to visit, travelling initially along a narrow mountain side driveway with a very steep drop Incredible views! Once there a bit disappointing / only s tasting place, no internal tours, food or sense of involvement They could certainly do a lot more...More

We are sorry that you were disappointed with your visit to Chard Farm. I am sure you can understand, that if we did have a restaurant at Chard Farm then that would increase traffic on the road and also the possibility of guests consuming more...More

Our host was friendly, funny and knowledgeable of the wines. There is a $10 tasting fee if you don't purchase wines which is donated to a local hospice. Pinots were great (unsurprisingly). A stunning view and a white knuckle drive up the 2km road. Worth...More

We stumbled upon this winery a short distance from Queenstown. We were hoping to get a bite with a tasting but, alas, no food. But the wine was quite good. We wound up buying several bottles even though it meant we'd have to lug them...More

What a great tasting. A room full of punters wanting a taste, being served by 1 person and she managed to make us all feel special. Oh and the wines were delicious.

The drive to the winery is beautiful (note: the driveway is narrow, and you are driving along a steep drop). The wine is delicious, and we bought two bottles of the Pinot Noir. A wonderful stop, and a great excuse to drive around Central Otago.
