This was my very first visit to the snow and I loved it! It's a little bit of a drive to get to the top but so beautiful! We pulled over on the way down and walked to a beautiful lookout of Queenstown. The staff...More

We skied here for a day. We were used to skiing in Austria and France. If you've skied in Europe, don't bother skiing here. It's smaller than the smallest of resorts in Europe. To be fair, they have done the best with what they've got....More

This place is great, the views and slopes are spectacular. Although it is busy the chair lift lines were quick and didn't feel I was waiting at all. The Remarkables is also great for beginners as they have a lot of room for lessons and...More

Good snow Clear sky lots of fun. We enjoyed hitting the slopes here. The equipment hire is fast and efficient. Plenty of runs, but lots of short ones, no so many long runs. Decent canteen area with lots of ski holders'

This was our first time snowboarding in New Zealand, spending the past four years in Australian snowfields. Things I loved about The Remarkables were: - quick and easy to get to from Queenstown - less crowds - well groomed runs, including blue runs - incredible...More

Oh that sounds like fun. The bar at top is accessible by chairlift then you ski or rode down to it. Not really suitable for pedestrians. There is a great cafe at the base though with views down the valley and up mountain and... More

Sorry but I don't really know for sure, there were none that I could see, but some extremely steep runs are definately part of it.
