I was walking along the Marine Parade by the beach and noticed the shop. At first, I wasn't sure what it was since the building was quite old. I did think it could have been a gallery but there was a sign on the side of the building that it was a shop.
The first room on the right has some information about the cottage as well as some relics of the past. The rooms are quite small so it was interesting walking around. You get more of the shop items as you head deeper into the shop. The contents were quite interesting with plenty of New Zealand specific items including many prints and souvenirs. I thought it was a nice little shop with an interesting history and items for sale.

We walked past this little house and I felt impelled to go in. What a treasure trove. Tracie has a fantastic selection of artisans offering a great array of art, jewellery, candles and so many gift options. Don't go past this little shop. Go in and be amazed!

What an amazing shop. I literally spent all day browsing the gift shop and bought a load of very unique and different Christmas gifts.
Some thing for everyone and every occasion beautifully displayed and reasonably priced.
The history of the building together with the lovely staff made my trip very special. The flower shop is also Beautiful, full of fresh flowers. I watched the florist put together bouquets with love and pride.
A must visit if your in Queenstown, you won’t be disappointed
Thank you to the lovely ladies who made my visit special. Especially Tracie who I ended up having dinner with.
Hope to see you again on my next trip.. who knows when but I’m sure it will be special. Can’t wait to see the revamped museum part of the cottage

Wonderful and friendly staff that had gone out of their way to gift-wrap a present my mom purchased from the shop for my mother in law - free of charge. The shop has beautiful decor with amazing jewellery, homewares, art, and clothing/accessories (which, I for one, would indefinitely visit again when I venture back to Queenstown).

Overall, the shop is aesthetically pleasing with great presentation and organisation. The staff were attentive, kind, and super helpful. Thank you so much to the staff as we really appreciated the kind gesture, kia kaha.

I have been going to this shop for years, each time I go to Queenstown. It always used to filled with art, both prints and original paintings. Must have been a change of ownership, because those have almost gone and it is now a gift shop of stuff you can buy elsewhere...an expensive tat shop, sadly. Oh, and each trip...they are never open when I first go. Even though it is opening hours. They have always popped out for 10 mins. and put a sign up. Not a good look, really.

It is a shame to have a review like this in the middle of a pandemic. Unfortunately for tourism, business is NOT as per usual!!

Not impressed at all. Was expecting a lovely shop with friendly staff
Nothing too special in the shop and the staff more interested in chatting to each other about their private lives to even say ‘hello’.

Its a lovely little building right down beside the waterfront. It has a lovely bohemian vibe with a very eclectic collection of items to buy.
I bought a few items here and they are on display at home now.
I spent about 20 minutes in here and loved it.
The owner was lovely and was good for a chat.
Its a must do if your walking past.
I am not sure, but this may have been one of the first buildings in Queenstown.

Absolutely do NOT walk past this little cute little store. We had the best experience totally unique to the rest of Queenstown with the historical value & outstanding location we were intrigued! Upon walking inside - the variety & range of gifts, fashion, flowers, art, jewellery everything was divine even the smell. Loved it! Cannot recommend enough. The staff were warm & lovely too. A MUST visit when in Queenstown.
