Well this place should be on your hit list if you are visiting Bathurst region. It had all things to do for a full day tour. Some great old caves to visit, there are also some adventure caves guided tours on offer. All basic facilities like toilets, picnic tables, BBQ and sufficient parking to enjoy your day out in the... Great place to camp and explore the local area and caves. We stayed in a caravan one night here down on the river, it was great and kids loved it.

Make a day of it! The last 10 minutes of the drive is a little curvy but well worth it. Pay and get a token to enter the Caves. We were the only ones inside, which was amazing! We could go at our own pace. The Caves were a little smaller than I thought and only took about an hour... More

Didn't expect to go by, but well worth it in the end. Quite an enjoyable afternoon wandering around.

We camped for a long weekend by the riverside. It was beautiful shaded under the trees. Lots to do, nature walks and tours through the caves

I'd never been before, we found out there are guided tours during the day, however they were over by the time we got there. Still, the self-guided tour is worth while.

Very unique natural heritage. Abundant wildlife Accommodation available, camping and cabins. Shop with souvenirs and snacks. Must take you own food. BBQ's and camp kitchen. $1 Interesting tour guides who love to impart their knowledge. Worth the trip to these magnificent caves.

We visited the caves on a very hot summer's day and found a lovely cool spot to set up a picnic for the day. We enjoyed swimming in the water hole (although the leeches freaked out a few of our party) and playing cricket in the shade. There is a shop/kiosk that sells ice blocks - but bring everything else... More

We decided to do the walk which sets off from the caves information centre. It is a good 6-7 km round trip which takes around 3 hours. You could do the walk in 2-2 1/2 hours but it would mean not stoping to enjoy the the scenery. Well worth it even though the river was barely flowing and the waterfall... More
