This zoo is important in the global conservation of endangered species. The talks by the keepers are xlnt. Recommend bring your own food though - cafes & restaurants on site are too expensive.

We stayed at Zoofari Lodge, wonderful accommodation at the zoo, and had time to watch the changing scene outside our room as various animals came to the feed stations. Giraffes up close, zebra, impala, rhinoceros, guinea fowl, ostrich and of course kangaroos. There was rich...More

Perfect way to spend time with friends, food is a little bit expensive but we took our own packed lunch and had a picnic in the park grounds. Animals seemed very happy and healthy. Feeding of the giraffes was the highlight of the day.More

We loved the zoo. You probably need half a day to get around and have a proper look and if you have small children it’s definitely worth hiring a cart to get you around. It’s great to see the animals in an almost natural environmentMore
