Garden visit

Not worth the entry fee and then the train ride is extra again on top. Pretty stop but very small and not want the brochuere shows.

Spent an hour here with our 3 children. Gardens well maintained but found it overpriced for the hour it took to meander through the gardens, although it could be possibly justified due to maintenance costs. However, once was enough and won't go back due to cost.

Gardens are really nice, the construction takes up a lot of space though and there appears to be an amusement park going up in place of the orchard which is disappointing. The cafe inside the actual gardens isn't great, and I don't understand why you can't take your own food in to picnic in the gardens.

Really overrated gardens, not worth the entry fare $29 per head, the train ride was exta on top of that. The place is run down, especially the story book land, it's needs a lot of fixing up, the owns are only worried about building an amazement park, which I don't think is necessary, and WHY are they building this, just... The gardens don't change. A couple of new shops, but basically why change a good thing. We ate in one of the cafes. Good food, nice atmosphere and friendly chatty staff.

This was a wonderful stay we had multiple types of accommodation from cabins, rooms to camping (in van) and it was great, it has a lot to offer and is a friendly and beautiful place. Highly recommended.

We have been to Pokolbin at least 7 times in the last 5 years. On each visit we have headed for the Hunter Valley Gardens, yet we have never actually experienced them! Why, I hear you ask. The answer is quite simple, but you will really need to go yourself to experience the magic of our repeated diversion. You see,... More

Some construction work being done and not a lot of flowers this time of year. but we really though it was good and well seat out, we will go back in spring... More
