Friendly staff await you here. We had a young lady who had a sparkling personality called Freha, (poor spelling sorry), she walked us through white wine tasting, the Semillon Sauvignon was my choice, and my friend bought some wines of his preference. I do believe this wine is available on the UK market and if you see it, try it.... More

Visited Brokenwood winery with my sister today, even tho we came late, just before closing time we were greeted by a very friendly staff and we tasted through some great wines especially the pinot noir and semillon, well worth a visit.

Tasted some excellent wines. Melissa was great, Happy to chat. Knew her wines and was the reason along with the Wines, that we decided to join their wine club. Comfortable tasting room. Well located. A must visit in Hunter

We had a great experience and got to try some amazing wine, we were so well looked after by our host James. I believe the wines at Brokenwood are some of the best value in the hunter at the moment!

Simple, small cellar door but with good wines. One of my favourite Semillions. $5 per head tasting fee but you get it credited back on any wine purchases.

First wine tasting of the day. Elaine shared great wines with us that interested us. Lovely tasting room. Ended up buying 2 bottles. Likely will order more after returning to states.

Thank you for visiting! We hope you enjoy the wines you purchased. Elaine may have mentioned this to you already but Old Bridge Cellars in the Napa Valley stocks our wines in the US if you're looking to purchase when you're back home. Cheers, Lauretta More

We went with a group for a wine tasting at Brokenwood and it was exceptional. They do charge a $5 tasting fee but if you buy wine, which you definitely will because they're amazing. Fraiah was our host and she was very friendly and knowledgable. Definitely worth the trip!

We turned up in a group of 5. Each winery we were buying between 4-12 bottles. We do not appreciate having to pay for the tastings so we moved on to the next. From reading the reviews it sounds like the wines are good but with so much competition in the region we moved on to the free tastings and... More

Hi CalyWilde, I hope you enjoyed your time in the Hunter Valley. I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that our $5 tasting fee is returned on purchase, I’m sorry if this was unclear at any point. We ask our customers to pay this small fee at the start to cover the cost of... More

We really enjoyed our wine tasting here- many great wines! We had great service from the lady who served us- she was friendly, and knowledgeable about the wines and answered our questions and made suggestions of what we might like as we chatted and worked through the list. One of our favourites in the Hunter!
