If you're heading south (and not in a rush) this scenic road is a must!! So many places to stop and take photos. Takes you through the national park forest and then right beside the ocean and even over the ocean on a little bridge. Lots of beaches you can stop as you get back down to sea level with... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review Danny B. The Grand Pacific Drive is 140kms stretching from the South of Sydney to the Shoalhaven river. The Sea Cliff Bridge is 700m of this spectacular part of the world. The best way to take in the Sea Cliff Bridge is by stopping and walking the bridge, its an... More

The coast road south of Bundeena and north or Wollongong is a fabulous drive through the Royal National Park to Stanwell Tops and then down along some beautiful beaches until you hit the northern suburbs of the city. A very twisting but manageable drive with some fantastic views and some lovely places for stopping and eating. If you are not... More

This is a beautiful drive for the most part starting at Bundeena through to around Thirroul. From there on it is mainly through the burbs of Wollongong and not great. The first section is highly recommended though with plenty of beaches to stop at along the way. Avoid on busy long weekends though

We travelled this on motorbikes. The National Park was great - surprised by the amount of lush greenness (coming from New Zealand we were not expecting to see this). Coming out of the Natinal Park and hiding the expansive ocen views was great and the road following the coast line offers plenty of quaint spots. This is certainly a great... More

Thankyou LMB27958 for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. The Royal National Park is gorgeous, filled will waterfalls, river crossings and adventurous bends. The Grand Pacific Drive is a favourite among motorbike riders due to the twists and turns that accompany the amazing views. It is lovely to hear you were able to enjoy the Grand Pacific... More

Basically a 50kph speed limit on the north Illawarra section. Best to pull over, if driving, to appreciate the ocean views. Plenty of cafes to enjoy also. If you would like to walk across the Seacliff Bridge, you can do that as well. Relax and leave the road rage at home.
