Unfortunately this museum needs more funding and more exhibits to make it a tourist attraction. The handful of aging volunteers are doing their best and are very interesting to talk to.

You could spend a lot of time here, if you're interested in railways. e only had 2 hours available, and we need to go back to see things we missed. The guide was a knowledgeable ex-railway man, and that added greatly to the experience.

When you drive in it does not look much but it is well worth the visit. They were recovering well after the floods. Lots of history and some lovely things to see.

I took my granddaughter to the railway museum during the school holidays. The lovely man who showed us around was so interesting with the history of the museum. My granddaughter loved the museum, and it is certainly a place to take the children. Worth a visit.

A nice little afternoon activity for the train nut! We were welcomed by a volunteer and showed around but left to selves at the end to explore. Kids enjoyed it.
