This beach is next to Kirra beach. You can come here using public bus No. 700 which runs along the entire coastline from Broadbeach South station to Tweeds Head and back. We actually walked from Kirra beach, which is a short leisurely walk along the coastal road, enjoying the cool winter air. There were not many people on the beach,... More

Coolangatta is so pretty and travelling to the southern end is a worthwhile trip. Look down over Schnapper Rocks and be surprised by the lovely little Rainbow Beach. At dawn Coolangatta slowly wakes up and come alive with joggers and cyclists multiplying minute by minute. Then come the Surfers trickling down one by one. The whole scene unfolds to become... More

I am not much of a beach person being a larger guy but I have been coming to this beach since I was very young with family and still love the area spent the day relaxing at green mount with friends.

The best end of the Gold Coast. Nice and quiet with good beach full of sand and pulling waves. Two patrolled areas for the kiddies and lots of shops and restaurants to spend your time.

Great beach for the family. The Greenmount end is often quite protected from the wind so is great place to learn to surf 🌊. The guys from walk on water surf school operate here and are the best. Also great for a sunset 🌅 walk.

This beach really is beautiful. Lovely soft white sand and calm crystal blue waters. Anywhere else in the world and this would be a 5 star beach but on the Gold Coast you're spoilt for choice. The only down side is that you have to walk out quite a way before you're at a depth where you can swim. Be... More

A magnificent white sandy beach with a headland protecting you from the prevailing southerly winds but none unfortunately in the less common northerlies when like all Gold Coast beaches it becomes pretty unpleasant! But, beautifully maintained by the Council, Life guards all year around, brilliant foreshore though the surf is a few hundred yards out and you need sandals on... More
