The water was a good depth, the entrance fee was free, it is located right next to the bike path and near the local canelands shopping centre.

I am constantly taking my daughter to the Bluewater Lagoon. It's a real highlight in Mackay. I recommend it to anyone visiting.

This is a lovely venue for families - free admission, great for BBQ's and family picnics. There is a smaller pool for babies and toddlers and a larger pool for older children. There is a cafe that sells drinks and snacks, although you can take in your own refreshments.

I have only visited this attraction a few times but this was a first with my young child. Plenty of options from shallow to deep. Well supervised by lifesavers and clean.

We discovered this local aquatic park just behind our hotel-apartment. The pools are huge and water temperature refreshing. Highly recommend a visit!

We stopped for a quick dip, great to see well patrolled, family orientated environment. As we travel with a dog it would have been a bonus to have a section where dogs can be inside the grassed area, as no dogs allowed she sat out front while we had a quick dip to cool off

What a lovely free family place to go on an outing for a few hours or the whole day. With plenty of shaded areas it is a relaxing place for everyone. There are 2 pools....one for the little kids and then one for the big kids.....which includes a slide. The pools are manned by life guards but it can get... More

So nice to chill with friends and family. It's always so clean, the gardens are well manicured. The removal of extra gardens has made a massive difference to the ambiance.
