If you want to, you can walk the full 6km track around this lake! However, even a short walk is worth it to take in the bird-life and greet others walking.

Driving around the lake was excellent. Went to the farmers market, which was small but had fresh fruit and vegetables. The ground was a bit soggy and slippery. The childrens play area was enormous.

We spent a few hours walking around, and having coffees near the lake. What a beautiful place to visit. It is only a short drive from the centre of Ballarat, less than 5 minutes from where we were staying.

You can just take a lovely stroll around the lake or buy a coffee sit and relax whilst the kids play in the park.

If you mean the tennis centre in Sebastopol, it is approximately 5.5 kms from Lake Wendouree.
