We drove 7 hours to Geelong to watch the AFL. We found Simonds Stadium easy to move around. There were average food outlets serving coldish food available. Our seats were very good with a clear view . My main criticism is that the largest tv...More

We had visited the peroni room to watch the cats play last year after reading many bad reviews on trip advisor and were pleasantly surprised. I even wrote a great review last year to the contrary and praised them for a great night. Brilliant atmosphere...More

Awesome ground to watch any sport on. Latest developments of the stands now give it a capacity worthy of a metropolitan stadium, and the light towers can be seen for miles.

Nice local stadium, not as large as its counterparts in Melbourne however it has a good atmosphere and its scale keeps things more personal. Very cold in winter as its pretty exposed

Its local big city footy, you can park on the grass, stop at a pub & put up with below average facilities. Love it

Maybe I'm biased (being a long time Cats supporter) but I love this place. We bring all our interstate visitors here for a look around and even the ones from NZ are impressed! There is a special feel about the place (like a smaller version...More

This is a huge stadium used for the local Australian rules football team. I was fortunate to be able to walk around during the off season it is really a remarkable stadium

The answers already provided cover all aspects very well. Main point - Book as early as possible! If you are not a Cats fan, however, you may be disappointed as they have a great winning record playing at home.

Cheap parking is available at South Geelong Primary School and this is about 750 metres to Gate 1. Get there at least one hour or more before game.
Hi Kym! Are you able to tell me please, which end of the stadium is the Geelong end? We are coming over from Perth and want to make sure we are sitting up the right end :) Thank you!

Gary Ablett Terrace is city end of ground, apparently there will be some free seating there this year, 2017.
